Student wellbeing program
Adelaide North Special School staff recognise the challenges faced by families caring for children and young people with disability. Our intention is to provide support to families via The National Student Wellbeing Program (NSWP) to improve wellbeing outcomes for students.
The NSWP is delivered by a Pastoral Care Worker (PCW). It’s not a religious program and does not provide religious instruction or religious counselling to students or families.
The program:
- provides support to families that focus on the social and emotional wellbeing of students
- complements the existing student wellbeing programs and services offered by schools.
Families are able to arrange an appointment with the resident Pastoral Care Worker by contacting the front office.
