School Hours

School gates open at 8.45am Monday to Friday.

There are three drop off zones at Adelaide North Special School.

1. R-12 Unit  - for Access Taxis and private access vehicles;
   
   
2. Taxi drop off / pick-up zone (near the Gym) for all students who can access standard taxis;
   
   
3. Parent drop off zone (near the Front Office) is for those who wish to drop off their child either at the gate or walk them to class. It is requested that an Adelaide North Special School permit be used when parking within the school grounds.

Our school learning time starts at 9.00am.  You will hear a learning bell to remind you that important learning is about to start.

The three Drop-off gates are locked at 9.00am. Late arrivals need to come to the Front Office to be signed in.

After 9.00am , parents / caregivers are reminded to drop off their child at the office to minimise learning disruption in the classroom.

2:55pm is the official end of our school day.

End of Day Pick-up: Gates open at 2.45pm allowing parents / caregivers and taxis to collect students. The majority of students are to be escorted into their taxis or family vehicles by 3.00pm.

Gates are closed and locked shortly after 3.00pm.
